The School of Sustainable Engineered Systems engages researchers from different disciplines and enables them to work in multidisciplinary teams. This leads to out-of-the-box thinking and innovative solutions to today’s sustainability problems.
The complexity of today’s research challenges also requires the creation of coalitions with other engineering disciplines as well as with disciplines as varied as medicine, the mathematical and physical sciences, biological sciences, architecture and social and behavioral sciences.
